Unemployment insurance

In the event of job loss, it is necessary to report as soon as possible (ideally at least one month in advance if you know the date on which your contract ends) to the Offices Régionaux de Placement (ORP) of your region. This will allow you to obtain the support of a professional to facilitate your reintegration into the labour market and to register to receive financial benefits from unemployment insurance.

Attached to the Coordination des ORP du Service de l’emploi, the Offices Régionaux de Placement (ORPs) are distributed throughout the canton of Vaud.
